The Flash Fire Extraction Coverall uses a layered system of fabrics designed to protect the wearer from thermal events, specifically flash fires in confined environments. The outer shell, made from DuPont™ Nomex® IIIA, is inherently flame resistant fabric, defends against fire and flame while the quilted Nomex® and NOMEX®/LENZING blend quilted liner acts as an insulating barrier between the heat source and your body. Our patented harness system is sewn into the suit eliminating harness systems worn on the outside of the coverall. This design prevents the harness from compressing the fabric layers tight against the body. The looser fit allows free air between the fabric and the body which has been proven to act as an additional layer of insulation. Laboratory tests have proven that for every additional second that the wearer stays inside the garment after a thermal event, burn injury increases. The integrated harness system, and fire resistant closures allow the wearer to be removed from the coverall much faster. Optional Kevlar® lanyard attaches to the suit and rolls up for storage in a pouch sewn behind the shoulders. Storm flap covers the heavy duty fire resistant Nomex® zipper. Nomex® Velcro® closures secure the neck, wrists, and pant legs. Suit is sewn with Kevlar® and Nomex® thread.

Our Gas Extraction Suit System features the only integrated internal extraction harness system in the industry (PAT. US 7,594,281 B1 and PAT. US 9,055,772 B2) which is rated for natural gas explosions. This suit system has been laboratory tested using DuPont™ THERMOMAN® technology, and NFPA 2112 Certified using ArcWear Laboratories FLASHCERT™ program in association with the Safety Equipment Institute.
